RSCUMobile 911 and E911 Disclosure

RSCUMobile, LLC, including its affiliates, assigns, and agents (“RSCUMobile,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this Disclosure to inform customers about the differences between the 911 and E911 access capabilities available with the RSCUMobile Wi-Fi calling service (the “Wi-Fi 911 Service”) and those available with traditional wired telephone services. It is important to understand how these differences affect your ability to access 911 and E911 services. Please read this Disclosure carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, contact RSCUMobile’s Customer Service Department at (844) 646-8746.

Important Differences and Limitations

1. The Wi-Fi 911 Service May Not Operate During a Power Outage:
You acknowledge that the Wi-Fi 911 Service will not function during a power failure or disruption. If there is an interruption in power at the Wi-Fi location, the RSCUMobile Wi-Fi calling service, including the Wi-Fi 911 Service, will not work until power is restored. A power failure may require you to reset or reconfigure equipment before using the service. We strongly recommend that customers have all equipment on long-running UPS systems, maintain a landline, and have a backup Internet connection. You are responsible for providing an uninterruptible backup power supply if you want to ensure continued operation during a power outage.

2. The Wi-Fi 911 Service Will Not Operate if Your Wi-Fi Connection is Disrupted:
You acknowledge that service outages or termination by your broadband provider, ISP, or RSCUMobile will prevent you from using the Wi-Fi 911 Service. If your Wi-Fi connection or RSCUMobile Wi-Fi calling service is restored, you may need to reset or reconfigure your equipment to use the Wi-Fi 911 Service to contact 911 and E911 services.

3. Providing Your Correct Service Address:
You must provide RSCUMobile with your correct service address. If you dial 911 using the Wi-Fi 911 Service, your call is routed to the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) or local emergency operator designated for your registered address. If your location information is incorrect, you can update your service address by updating your account preferences at my.rscumobile.com or by calling our Customer Service at (844) 646-8746.

4. Moving Your Equipment:
You acknowledge that 911 and E911 services will not function if you move your RSCUMobile device to a different street address without notifying RSCUMobile. It may take up to 2 hours to process any address changes. Notify RSCUMobile in advance of any changes to your registered address. Failure to provide the correct address may result in emergency calls being routed to the wrong location. Update your account preferences at my.rscumobile.com or call our Customer Service at (844) 646-8746 if you move or damage your equipment.

5. Emergency Personnel May Not Identify Your Phone Number:
You understand that it may not be possible for the PSAP and local emergency personnel to identify your phone number when you dial 911 using the Wi-Fi 911 Service. Although RSCUMobile’s system is configured to send automated number identification information, the PSAP and other telephone companies must be capable of receiving and passing along this information.

6. Emergency Personnel May Not Identify Your Address:
If you use your Wi-Fi 911 Service to call 911 from an address other than your registered address, PSAP and emergency personnel will not have your address information. You must be able to state your location and the nature of your emergency.

7. Potential Delays or Dropped Calls:
You acknowledge that, due to technical constraints, there is a greater possibility of network congestion and/or reduced speed in routing a 911 call made using your Wi-Fi 911 Service compared to traditional 911 dialing.

8. Maintain Alternate Means of Contacting 911 and E911 Services:
RSCUMobile does not offer primary line or lifeline services. Always have an alternative means of accessing emergency response services using traditional 911 or other emergency notification services.
